Hydra's Venomous Bite
 

In Dungeon Fantasy Companion 3, the hydra entry (p. 106) says in the introductory text that "their bites are venomous." The combat stats, however, only say that the bite does 2d impaling. Then it discusses their toxic blood, which is a separate feature.

Has anyone used the hydra and added venom to its bite?
