Gryphon and Elf with fire attack
 

Hello. Does Elf-helper get additional level against Gryphon (Legendary Munchkin) if he has fire attack?

That's certainly a good question, but the answer is no. A non-Elf helper wouldn't receive an extra level if they or the primary player in combat had a fire/flame attack. The Elf special ability is what gives it the single level for helping, not the monster.
