The Sub completes its turn and fires another torpedo. The aft torpedoes are much larger and more dangerous. They don't score a direct hit. At least they don't think they do. The explosion is enormous, and you can feel it rock the submarine (6d6x25 at 100 yards away underwater).

The demon doesn't seem to be following.

"Well even if the demon isn't going to report back for a week somebody probably saw that explosion from the surface. We should get out of here."

Swap batteries on all equipment, check microbot swarm charging, wake up additional security.

Vassarious will calculate a form to take if they need to go out into the deep to fight to defend the sub....

The sub changes direction again, heading north parallel to the home islands.

Silestro throws up his shield to block the demon's portals... It should last for about an hour.

Vasarious senses demons nearby... maybe 100 yards directly above the submarine. Four shapeshifters, looking very much like fish... very fast fish chasing a submarine.

I suppose shooting fish with another torpedo would be ineffective... Probably time to prepare for another dip in the ocean.

The fish swim closer to the submarine. They seem to be waiting to transform until the very end.
