Discard - from played cards and/or hand
 

I had card saying I need to discard my highest power. Does this mean from cards equipped only ? Or does it include cards in my hand ?

The cards in your hand, not in place, are only played against when something specially calls those cards. That's the easy simple.

When you're talking at on the cards, it's a little question. In general, you have to read what the card is to see what you're only attack things equipment at that time, or whatever is in play whether they are equipment or just carried.
