How does the Wolfsbane card work?

If I use the card against myself and the next player to the left is a Half-breed Werewolf, will it work on him? Does dis count as a disadvantage? Would be better to provide your aruments with some sort of proofs in order to avoid unwanted controversy.

The note about using the Trap to hit the player next to you is more for when you find the Trap when you kick down the door; when you are playing the Trap from your hand, you can hit anyone your want, just like with any Trap.

If a victim of the Trap is a Half-Breed Werewolf . . . hmm. Since the text of this card specifically says it only hits Werewolves, I'd rule that a Half-Werewolf without a second Race can ignore this Trap.

It literally says I can redirect it in case if a person next to the left is a Werewolf. Being Half-Breed doesn't mean he's not one of em. Losing a level from my viewpoint is more of a side-effect.
If I can't do this, the condition is kind of pointless, since it can hit only a mere Werewolf, or a Werewolf mixed with some other race.

The rules say that being a Half-Breed with only a single Race lets you ignore disadvantages of that Race, and being Trapped by something specifically for that Race sure sounds like it qualifies to me.

Thanks for the answer. Appreciate it.
