Rules on Bookmarks

I have recieved a few bookmarks from promos and sets. I have never used one and I was looking for info on how to use bookmarks in your game.

i wanted to know how do you determine who gets to use which bookmarks? Do you choose during character creation?

We have a few that we are excited to introduce and try, but I can't find any rules on bookmarks in general.

thanks

Re: Rules on Bookmarks

All the rules for using a particular bookmark are on that specific bookmark.

As far as who gets to use them, we generally assume the owner of the bookmark is bringing it to a game to play. If you are sharing them among your players, then it is up to you to determine how you'd like to do that. Keep in mind, most bookmarks say that each player may only use one bookmark of any kind per game.

Re: Rules on Bookmarks

That I get, I was wondering how to determine starting bookmarks. Example, our new set has 3 bookmarks, wanted to know if there was an official ruling on how to pick starting bookmarks or I can use my divine "Power of Ownership" and come up with some house rules.

Thanks for the quick reply by the way.

Re: Rules on Bookmarks

usually the bookmarks are the owner's. We used to arrange enough copies for 6 players so everyone could pick from the same pool.

Re: Rules on Bookmarks

As a general rule, the owner of a bookmark is the one who gets to use it. However, in casual play, if someone brings several bookmarks, they may choose to pass them out so everyone gets one to use over the course of the game.
