[Psionic Powers] TK Bullet: Weapon Master or (variant) Gunslinger?

Which of these advantages, if either, is applicable to TK Bullet? The behaviour of the attack is more like a gun than a muscle-powered range weapon, but the propulsion is definitely provided personally, rather by igniting propellant.

...Heroic Archer, maybe?
I'll give it some more deep thought later.

I think Gunslinger would cost more than it's worth for a single form of attack without any Bulk (assuming Acc is lower than 6). So even if it would work, I wouldn't recommend it. Weapon Master might be worth it, but I'd make sure I had GM approval before picking it for something that isn't muscle-powered.

While it has the damage potential of a firearm it's closer to a sling in execution. I'd use Weapon Master.

And the advantage could be called Psipslinger!

Something usefully for all damaging periodic powers?

Having though about this a bit more, I'm deeply reluctant to allow (I'm the GM) Weapon Master damage bonuses on TK Bullet. Combining those with the Rapid Fire technique (Psionic Powers, p. 53) gives ridiculous amounts of damage.

Gunslinger/Heroic Archer have a large element that is about ignoring Bulk penalties that TK Bullet simply lacks.

So I think I'm going to have to define a new advantage, possibly based on Zen Archery.

Check out Spellslinger from Pyramid #66. It's basically Gunslinger for magic.

Interesting. I think it might only be worth 20 points for psi, unless I can replace one of the benefits.

What about Imbuement Skills for TK Bullet? While it would be expensive, the extra flexibility could be worth it.

Reduction for rapid strikes is a big one for psi powers. Also the rest of that stands - I wrote up most of the analogues to Mighty Spell, etc. in Pyramid #69

Normally, you cannot use Imbuement Skills on psionic powers. TK Bullet cuts a close grain though and as an optional rule you can use it on the thing you're flinging but it must be in your hand and you must spend a Concentrate roll beforehand.
