[Lensman] Differences between 1st and 2nd editions?

Hi,
My search-fu is apparently not up to the task. Can someone point me to a link that describes the updates between the first (1993) and second (2001) editions of GURPS Lensman?
Thanks.

I don't think there are any significant differences.

Both are for GURPS Third Edition. GURPS Powers: Totem and Nature Spirits has an enhancement that mimics Sense of Perception.

There is also a version of Sense of Perception in GURPS Powers: Enhanced Senses.

There may have been some fixing of the recusively increasing costs of having ultra-high point Allies like Second-Stage Lensmen.

That's the only thing I can recall being mentioned though.

Are you referring to Para-Radar Imaging?
I think that covers the Rigellians? pretty well that could see without eyes or ears but not some of the high level trivks done by others.
By the way, where is the Scanner enhancement defined? See Ultrascan p. 27.

No, I meant Mass Perception on p. 26.

Ah, yeah I see Perception as a sort of Super ESP power described here though IIRC they could also see into things and even atoms, at the least the Second Stage lensmen.

When Virgil Samms encounters it it seems to work more specifically.

Bad Wikipedia! No biscuit! The Sense of Perception does not allow hearing even to races born with ears. Tregonsee wished he was able to percieve sound.

The sese of Perception is a Ranged and Discriminatoty Detect of unusual breadth. Something like "Detect Matter and Energy" and it can be enhanced to extraordianry ranges and use the eqivalent of 6 or more levels of Microscopic Vision at range.
