Character sheet pads?
 

Thank you all for the great KS! I used to play Melee and Wizard with friends at the lunch table my senior year in high school (1980). Well, now I'm a teacher and I run a RPG club at my school. I've brought in the Melee and Wizard boxes from the Legacy Edition. It has been a HUGE hit. But the kids want to use the character sheets instead of index cards (like we used to do "back in the day"). Are these available as pdf downloads or for purchase by the pad?

That's great to hear!

Yes, there is a full-page character sheet in the Legacy edition. You should have a hard copy you could photocopy or scan/print, and also you should have got a link to the PDF of the Legacy edition. Look for the "The Fantasy Trip Character and Reference Booklet.pdf" file.

Oh, and WAY TO BE AN AWESOME TEACHER!

The Fantasy Trip Character Pads file within the Legacy Edition PDF (SJG30-3450K, from October) has the Melee and Wizard sheets.

Many print shops will be able to print pads of the single page for you.

We may have some excess ones for sale at a later date. Warehouse 23 will be the spot to watch.

I know I'm not the CEO of anything, but I would feel that a reprint of these to keep them available would be a potentially useful seller for the line. God knows I'd buy more of them given the opportunity!

In our experience, running something like this only appeals to a tiny percentage of the overall audience and leads to excessive inventory. We could offer these in the Kickstarter campaign _because_ they were also packed inside the game. That meant offering extras wasn't a big deal because:

* We were already making them.
* What was offered on BackerKit was _identical_ to what was in the box, even down to the barcode.
* We could print to the BackerKit numbers + a little extra for damages.

If we were to just run 5,000 or so of the pads, we have no way of knowing if we would sell 23 and sit on 4,977 for the next seven years _or_ sell through all of them in seconds.

Odd items like this are cool, but they're risky when it comes to inventory.

That makes sense. We have them as pdf's dont we? If so, it would be easy for us to print them ourselves.
