Pat Hidy Response

Hey, were you guys at Steve Jackson Games aware that Pat Hidy WANTED to be a part of this game?

Check out his response here!

Maybe you can get him to do some new art work for upcoming releases??? God knows all us fans out here would desperately love to see him back on the team!

It would certainly be fun to get some of his artwork into the new product line! Maybe they'll find a way to make that work with an upcoming kickstarter for new markers or MH tiles or something.

Wizard illustrations (I think counters) and Death Test 1.

Honestly, I don't know if that was Pat or not. He did the original counters for Death Test, as well as the cover and many of the interior illustrations -- and he had some interior artwork in ITL too, if memory serves (though a lot of the best art in ITL was from Bradley Clark -- who was the guy who did the original dragon and wizard cover illustration for Wizard.

It is nice to know that SJG tried to get in touch for the Legacy Edition, and too bad connection wasn't made. Hidy's B&W illustrations for TFT were outstanding, exhibiting flair and recognizable style. Assuming (his? her?) style hasn't changed from all those years ago, it would be great to have Hidy contributing new art for our beloved TFT.

With the relative flood of new material for TFT it would be great to see some new artwork from Pat Hidy. Make it happen guys!

OMG I loved the mysterious 'Hidy', never knew anythin about him tho .. my own counters are intentionally designed to mimic his style in the rulebooks, nothing else seems correcto for TFT .. he seems influenced by Bescuma (conan comic artist at marvel) and the legendary Frazetta
