What exactly are the Playmats?
I've poked around, cannot find description of KS playmats...
Are the hexes bigger than normal to conform to original Melee/Wizard maps, or are there more hexes normal sized? Are they some type of foam backed plastic that is rolled up, or what? Dry erase? And what's the deal on dry erase boards/Megahexes and the KS? Thanks for anyone who can point me to this info... |

Neoprene-backed cloth playmats, 1.5-inch hexes, illustrated by Dyson Logos.
https://rpgcharacters.wordpress.com/maps/ You can use Cardboard Heroes or miniatures with the playmats. We'll share the artwork at a later date. |

Playmats - Neoprene-backed cloth playmats illustrated by Dyson Logos; Melee 24"x14", Wizard 24"x24", 1.5" hexes for larger miniatures/Cardboard Heroes
Dry Erase Megahexes - this is a stretch goal based on social media sharing. If this Facebook post is shared 500 times, we get a sheet of the 2-sided dry erase megahexes |
Re: What exactly are the Playmats?
Oh, and you asked about dry erase. I would not use any sort of marker on a neoprene map without testing carefully first. This is my advice because (a) they differ, and (b) most of them seem to soak up ink. So the good news is that an artist can embellish them with Sharpie, and the bad news is that you don't want to doodle on them.

HmmmmmMMMM . . .
You'all have researched dry-erase boards when you reprinted Triplanetary. Could dry-erase hex/megahex boards be a stretch goal? |

Re: What exactly are the Playmats?
I followed the link but didn't see an image of the Melee and Wizard maps; I'm sure they are cool and everything, but is there a picture of what they look like?
