Cornucopia
 

Was poking through my box set and found a price difference between my friend's old DF1 cost for Cornucopia and the box set.

Old DF1: $110
Box Set: $2010

Looked for errata but no luck.

Pretty big difference. Any hints as to which is correct?

The price in the box set is correct. Several items have had their cost adjusted to be more balanced.

I disagree with the terminology of "balanced" being used. However the term "consistent" would be almost completely true if one was willing to ignore Wizard's Staffs...

DFRPG and DF aren't the same game, so there's no discrepancy. The prices in the boxed set are the prices for DFRPG and the price in DF1 is the price in GURPS DF.

As a rule of thumb it looks like they largely got rid of Quick and Dirty Enchantment prices.

For everything except Wizard's Staffs because Wizards are cheating cheatery cheats.

Any sufficiently advanced magic is indistinguishable from cheating ;)

From the various discussions though it does seem like their might be a few other things that have been adjusted price wise as well but I haven't run the math on the various items yet to be sure.
