How to start an overrun

I've got this amazing overrun set up, two SHVYs vs a disabled HVY.

But I can't seem to initiate the overrun. Is there some way to do that, now that all the units are in the hex?

It looks like I could move one of them out of the hex, which would be a major bug. (The other is out of movement.)

The way it's supposed to work is as soon as you move the first unit into the hex, it should bring up a screen asking you what other units to involve in the overrun.

If you aren't seeing that, it's probably a bug.

Yes, you should have gotten a specific overrun interface as soon as you moved the first SHVY in, and then you could bring the second one in and squash that HVY.

Hey, I was able to do it by trying to move that second SHVY out of the hex. Nice.

That's really odd; that's not how it's supposed to work. You should have gotten something like this screen when you moved the first unit in.

Notice how you have the "initiating unit" at the top, and all the available units that can join listed underneath. If that's not what's happening, it's a bug and should be reported.

I had a middle option - forget the words, but "Add more units/come back later to do the overrun" .

And it was a very satisfying overrun - especially as I screwed up my initial deployment, then plowed a SHVY into rubble by accident. Not my finest game, but my opponent had some units too far forward to balance my mistakes. He's not rolling well - and I'm rolling much more frequently.

Yes, do please report it.

If this game really catches on and continues, it will be because of the active fanbase . . . catching bugs and making it better for everyone else.

I think the real bug I want to report is that my SHVY got stuck in rubble.

Rubble has "Same as Swamp for HVY. No effect on movement for SHVY or Ogres," at least on the terrain .pdf I have on my laptop. (I can check the printed rules when I get back in a few days.)

Will do. I'll be sure they both get in.

Yes, that's a bug, and something I've already reported (but more reports is never a bad thing).

5.08.3 Rubble does not affect Ogres and Superheavies.
