Peshkali Scimitars Value?
 

My players will want to sell the peshkali's six scimitars, but scimitars aren't listed in the equipment that I saw. I guessed that it was a cavalry saber, but the stats don't align.

If a peshkali has ST 20, that's 3d+2 swing, 2d-1 thrust damage. The swords do 3d+2 cut, 2d imp.

The only sword under the broadsword skill that has sw cut, thr +1 imp damage is the edged rapier, but it has a longer reach.

What are the swords' value?

Actually, the listed damage is 3d+3 cut, 2d imp for the scimitars (Monsters, p.46). That's +1 swing, +1 thrust, which is exactly what the Cavalry Saber has.

Treat them as cavalry sabers: $500. (This is stated explicitly on p. 11 of I Smell a Rat.)

Should the numbers sometimes not align perfectly with monster stats (such as it it really were 3d+2), you don’t have to worry about it - since monsters aren’t completely detailed write ups, you can just call it a feature of the monster and move along.
