Errata? Cheap-Quality Hobgoblin and Orc Swords
Monsters, p. 34, lists hobgoblin swords as "crude, saw-toothed falchions that leave nasty wounds (break as cheap, and sell for at most $125)."
The same page describes an orc's sword as "a sawtoothed falchion (breaks as cheap, and sells for at most $80)." I understand that Orcish Sawtooth Blades are from Glittering Prizes (p. 20), but I don't think we have rules for cheap-quality blades in DF RPG, do we? Also, the price is different (though one may be large, I haven't done the math), and I'm on the fence with the hyphen. Thanks! |

Yeah, "cheap" isn't a quality you can intentionally go into town and ask for, to prevent various kinds of cheesiness I leave as exercises for the reader. But it is defined in the game and does have real effects.

Thank you. Forgot to check there.
I'm pretty well in favor of the quality being dropped from purchase. |
