What are regular retail prices on those items? I'm curious because it doesn't SEEM like much of a "special" unless they are more expensive than I thought they would be.

There is _no_ discount on this bundle. The special is the limited greeting card that is shipped before the game.

Ah, ok. That's actually a relief, since the pricing seemed to come out right around what I expected from regular retail, so if there WAS a discount that would have meant the game was pricier than I was planning for.

No problem. The starters are $19.95/each, and boosters are $3.95/each.

Good news! ... thought its US only because of the advertisment postcard from my last W23 order which states "while supplies last or until December 20th, 2017, Offer only valid in the U.S."

Looking at the FLGS form you posted, it appears to show a price of $19.95 for a starter and a booster. Buying all three would cost $59.85 and would get you three starters and three boosters. Boosters are $3.95 each. For 9 more boosters to reach the 12 total in the deal, it would be $35.55. For a total price of $95.40 for three starters and 12 boosters.

It appears as though W23 is charging considerable more than a FLGS would to pre-order. Am I missing something? Do the starters not come with a booster despite being pictured with one?

The 12 boosters don't include the three boosters included in the three starters, so you're short $11.85 - which takes you to the total price of the preorder. (You're getting 15 boosters total, in other words.)
