Just posted my first Ogre tutorial on GEV terrain effects

Hoping to fill some knowledge gaps on the mysteries of why the computer game lets you do things (and doesn't let you do things you think it should).

I've done a few double takes at things like GEVs having to go around ridges. Your video is big help to casual players like me.

Glad it helped. Hmm... Now that you mention it, I forgot to put a section about ridges. I was focusing on the more subtle stuff (with streams, especially). I might need to update the video and add a section about ridges, but that's probably less necessary since they are pretty obvious when playing the classic Ogre scenarios.

My next tutorial on Light Tracked Unit Terrain Effects is up.

Hopefully there are some tidbits that will make navigating your Missile tanks and Light tanks easier.
