List of fixed bugs

This thread is for reporting results of retesting bugs that were previously reported but may have been fixed in the latest update.

I am playing through Nightfall from the start, testing for things that gave me problems before.

This is a test of saving and loading:

Saving during movement phase and then loading works just fine. It remembers how many units you have already moved.

Saving any time during the fire phase and then loading puts you back at the end of the move phase, which is fine. Lets you redo your firing from scratch.

Saving during GEV movement phase and then loading works just fine. It remembers how many GEVs you have already moved. Minor quirk: the little GEV indicator at the to stays unlit until you select a GEV to move.

Conclusion: The previously-reported Load/Save bugs appear to have been fixed.

Re: List of fixed bugs

You might want to include the version on which you are testing when posting reports. That will help mitigate confusion and also might aid in identifying regression bugs.

Where do I find the version?

Not useful for this purpose. Yesterday I say the steam client load some changes to the program (if the changes are large enough you can see the progress bar) but the number in the bottom left corner didn't change. Until Auroch makes a build number available (the bottom of the credits screen would be a good place) the best we can do is makes sure that we exit and restart the steam client right before we test and let the time stamp on our reports be the "version number".

We update the version number with every fix or update we put out. There was a small hotfix yesterday which is what you may have seen, and the version number has changed to 1.3.1.0 accordingly :)

Thanks!

Any chance we can get release notes for this? Thanks!

It was the only fix in the update and was just to put the fire out :)

I'll always create a thread and include change logs when 'proper' updates are released.

Thanks!

Gotcha - thanks for the clarification!
