Beta keys were rescinded before release - not sure whether you'll still need to uninstall, or whether the removal of the beta access did this automatically.

Just Steam weirdness. I hadn't logged into Steam since the Beta was rescinded, and my first action upon logging in today was to buy the full version. So, Steam happily reactivated the Beta files instead of automatically replacing them with the full version. Not a big deal, as OGRE is so small that uninstalling and reinstalling only took a couple minutes.
