Does Stench still cause damage?
 

Has the effect of Stench changed? On DF Spells pg 17, there is no mention of a HT check to avoid damage as there is in the GURPS Magic version. I know this a different game, but there appears to be no reason to try to hold your breath with the spell as it appears in DFRPG.

I don't see any change in effect.
Yes, there is a HT check: every minute. If you fail, you take damage. (The last sentence of the spell description). Plus (another reason to hold your breath) the cloud makes you suffocate, so you lose fatigue.

Ah, I missed the effect at the end, the edited spell is more concise, but wasn't as clear as the old version.
