Phil on Twitter said he got an e-mail that a lot of the boxes have started shipping to US customers. He replied to me that more will go out today. IT'S HAPPENING!!!

That's the good news.

The bad news is that they're being shipped via SPS, the package delivery service staffed entirely by sloths. Normal package delivery time is 11 business days, but that's just for packages going across town. If you're more than a few miles from the shipper, count on it taking 3-18 months, give or take.

No, I'm just kidding. Steve Jackson Games would never do that. They probably have a contract with SPS's biggest competitor, TortEx. Which, yes, is entirely staffed by Galapagos tortoises, but each of them can carry quite a bit on its back! Way more than a sloth can.

Not really. But it's sure gonna feel that way... :)

Rest of the world is in transit.

In transit to the rest of the world? Or in transit to the USA still?

It's in transit to the distribution centers. We'll have more details in an update, but international orders are still heading to their initial destinations, not ready to ship just yet.

Munchkin Shakespeare started shipping to US supporters last Wednesday through the same service. Backers started receiving packages on Friday, and continue to report successful receiving of games.

Does U.S. distribution include to Canada or do they have separate distribution centres?

US only. Canada will start when the game arrives. The shipment is divided into three containers, and storms have delayed the games destined for Canada, stores, and the rest of the world outside of Europe.

The container with US Kickstarter rewards went to a new fulfillment warehouse and beat the bad weather.
