[DF19] Can someone help me with Path names?
Can anyone help me out with names in Classical Greek for my eight paths of Incantation Magic? In case you wonder, they are:
Arcanum - Spells, mana, and the creations of the magical arts Augury - The past, the future, fate, and chance. Elementalism* - Air, darkness, earth, fire, light, metal, water Mesmerism* - Minds of all kinds Necromancy* - The dead and undead Protection - All sorts of defensive magic Spirits* - Spirits of all kinds, except ghosts Transfiguration* - Living beings, including their flesh and blood in general. I need a name for "Path" and a name for each Path, if that makes sense. And it would be preferable (but not necessary) if Arcanum, Elementalism, Necromancy and Spirits were masculine and Augury, Mesmerism, Protection and Transfiguration were feminine. Is that possible? And please, transcribe it, for I am ignorant of Greek letters. Thank you very much! * these paths are modified from the original |
Re: [DF19] Can someone help me with Path names?
"Path" could be either tropos (way/style) or dromos (road/path) in modern Greek, at least according to Google translate. I'd be tempted to make a compound word for each path - path of undead might be Necrodromos, for example.

Odos (path, method) is also a possibility.
Or skholė (school) Nomos (separation) |
