[DF] Cleric of Icarus

What type of Cleric from DF7 would a Cleric of Icarus likely be? Any particular thoughts on such Clerics?

Well, the obvious "ironic yet still appropriate" answer would be a Sun God . . .

Well people who actually worshipped Icarus would probably have a different version of his story. I could see them claiming that the Greek myth was just a lie by the priests of the former sun god and he actually flew to the sun and displaced the unworthy former occupant.

Alternatively however, you could frame Icarus as not one of the major spheres but something along the lines of "freedom", giving movement, and air spells (including one that lets one breath underwater, always handy if you crash into the sea).

When I saw the OP's question, I immediately thought of this quote:

"But I've never seen the Icarus story as a lesson about the limitations of humans. I see it as a lesson about the limitations of wax as an adhesive."
– Randall Munroe, "What if?" #30

So... perhaps a cleric of a god of alchemists, tinkerers, sages, and anyone else who we would call a materials chemist?

I would have gone with "artificiers" except Daedalus made the wings. Icarus just used them.

For this reason I would go with a god of young adventures, especially reckless ones. Athletes maybe as well and Daredevil and/or Impulsiveness as common traits.
