Defeated vs. Killed
I know what killed means, since even card effects explicitly state if it counts as a kill, but there has been much confusion and heated arguments of late, especially among newer players, as to what all counts as defeating a monster without killing it.
One of the largest ones arises from the Wizard ability vs. a Monster enhancer that modifies the Treasure count. Basically the enhancer(s) are played until the Monster to big to beat so the Wizard charms it, then says he/she gets all the additional Treasures and not just the printed total. So I decided to ask what counts as defeated when it comes to card effects? |
Re: Defeated vs. Killed
This is already documented in the FAQ, Important Note #3. Unless you have a specific card you want to discuss, I'm not going to try to find and list all the potential situations.

Re: Defeated vs. Killed
Actually the FAQ gave me everything I needed to know and gives me a resource I can direct them to, thanks MunchkinMan!
