Super-Adaptoid (Marvel)
 

A question was raised about Super-Adaptoid's text regarding the bonus he receives, "+1 for every ally and power in play". It is my understanding that items, powers, allies, etc. "in play" are different than those "in play in front of you". That difference being the former refers to ALL the appropriate cards on the table, as opposed to the latter, just the ones in front of you, attached to your character. Is this, in fact, correct? I was certain this question must have come up in the years Munchkin has been around, but I couldn't find any related threads.
