Trap! Garlic Powder

A friend of mine brought up something interesting. This card goes from gender neutral to gender specific. Does this mean the diverted trap could only affect a male vampire in this case?

Trap! Garlic Powder
Affects only vampires. If you are not a Vampire, and a player next to you is a Vampire you may have the trap hit HIM.

The Trap may affect munchkins of any gender.
