Magic Helmet and Spear

If you loose a headgear or a hand item to a curse or bad stuff, you lose the whole card, right?

Unless you feel like tearing it in half, yes. (This card is in Munchkin 8, for people who don't know that set. It's a Headgear/1 Hand Item.)
