Stacked armor and theft?
While playing Cthulhu an opponent had on armor along with the Cultist T-shirt and the Tweed Jacket. Both the shirt and jacket say that they can be worn with other armor but that if anything takes armor away it is all taken.
Do these two items blend with the main armor piece as a single item such as an item with item enhancers on it? If the theft is successful would all three units be stolen together? Would the jacket and shirt be placed in discard since the theft allows for stealing of only one small item (since all three have gold value they are technically separate items) because of the caveat on these armor items? Any feedback on this situation would be greatly appreciated as there were differing opinions about this during the game. |
Re: Stacked armor and theft?
Theft doesn't specifically target Armor, so each Item must be taken individually. The point those cards are making is that if something (e.g., Bad Stuff, a Curse) specifically makes you lose your Armor, then all of it goes.

Is this a new ruling?
What about old one? Quote:

Re: Stacked armor and theft?
MunchkinMan's ruling in this thread is correct. Theft targets individual Items.
