Thief Hireling and Lawyer
 

If I have in play the Thief Hireling and I draw the Lawyer monster, does he fight me?

Without double checking other rulings for the moment, but looking at the rules, the distinction is made that bonus and penalties with respect to a Race- or Class-based Hireling will apply to the Monster, but Race- or Class-based Bad Stuff only applies to you. Now, this isn't Bad Stuff, but at the same time, this is about how the Monster reacts to you and your helper, not your flunkies.

To be absolutely sure I got this right: In that case I described the laywer doesn't see me as a Thief and fights me, but if I drew a monster that had a -X or +X against Thieves that would count normally on me?
