Negative combat strength
A 4-level monster gets enhanced with a -5 card. What is now the monster's level? I think it can't fall below 1, right?
When talking about negative combat strenght what do you mean exactly? Can you give me an example? Thanks! |
Re: Negative combat strength
The Potted Plant is Level 1. The Baby enhancer gives the monster -5. The total combat strength is 1-5 = -4. I'm not sure why you think combat strength can't go below 1 when the rules say explicitly that it can.

Re: Negative combat strength
I thought the rules said that a monster's level can't go below 1 but the total combat strength of a monster or a player in a battle can be negative and I was wondering how can that be achieved..

Re: Negative combat strength
"Level" and "Combat strength" are two completely different things.
A Munchkin's "Level" can never go below 1, but his Combat Strength can go negative if there are enough negative modifiers. |

Re: Negative combat strength
So in the example given above the Potted Plant would be a 1-level monster with a combat strength of -4 at that battle?

Re: Negative combat strength
Yes, that's correct.
