If elf have level 9 and help someone kill a monster, the elf wins the game?

Yes, because it's a level gained as a result of killing a monster.

Most helpers don't. The Elf's special ability gives them a level, however.

What if the monster gives 2 levels, or there are two monsters that give 1 level each? Helper takes 2 levels or 1? I've ruled it for 2 but i wonder if that's the correct intention of Elf's special ability.

Elf helper gain only one level for each Monster, no matter how many levels gives a monster. Elf gets only one for each.

That is incorrect.
The Elf gains 1 level per monster that he helps kill.

I believe that was the intention, to gain whatever levels the monsters give, so if a single monster gives 2 levels, helper Elf takes 2 levels too. But i've been asked if that is correct because of the Elf card saying for one level, and decided to ask here.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure the Elf card states "1 level for every monster he helps kill". So it wouldn't matter how many levels the original monster gives, only how many monsters were in the combat.

I believe the reason it doesn't say 2 levels is because the text would have to be bigger to explain farther-more situations. Maybe i'm wrong of course, that's why i would like to see what Andrew or Eric have to say.

You're correct. If an Elf helps, they get one level per kill, even enough to win.

I don't know about all that, but the Elf card is pretty clear. We can't copy card text on the forums, but go take a look at it. It says, paraphrasing the important part, they get 1 level for each monster.

For the Elf, it's one Level per Monster, regardless of how many Levels the Monster might give. The card is giving a very exact number specifically so there isn't any confusion.
