Even with the parallel situation, remember the roads we're seeing on the map are only the major thoroughfares. There are undoubtedly many small roads crossing over and back of the rail from the major road. These would be smooth enough to justify no loss of the bonus.

But as mentioned, KISS rules all anyway!

Yuppers.

Are the VP values for Trucks listed anywhere? It seems unlikely that they are worth the standard 6 VP since they aren't exactly "armor units."

Found it in the scenario booklet:
Available units: A scenario can limit one or both players’ access to some unit types. One side can be heavy on infantry, for instance, or have few or no GEVs.
The value of trucks, hovertrucks, and other transport depends entirely on the scenario objectives. You may also make certain combat units cheaper or more expensive for a particular scenario, just to get players to try unusual force mixes.

Not official, but Henry's calculator - http://www.hcobb.com/gev/formcalc.html - says they're worth about half a VP. That sounds sane.

I would make that 1 VP then, or go strictly with the "you make it up based on your scenario" model that currently exists. 1/2VP is too fiddly.

Hover trucks come in at about 1 VP. Maybe scenario-based is the way to go, although they'll just sit in the box otherwise.

Maybe inflate them to keep the munchkins at bay: 1 VP for a truck, 2 VP for a hover truck.

I'd say just leave it the way it stands in the Scenario Book: Scenario defined.

Realistically, they are a Scenario specific thing anyway. They rarely have any intrinsic value; it's more about their value during the scenario that matters.

Anyone have any additional errata, rules clarifications or FAQs that should be included but have yet to be posted?

ODE Rulebook, 13.01.2, I seem to recall a discussion that the numeric example was somehow incorrect or misleading. I'll see if I can find the thread.

EDIT: Found it.

http://forums.sjgames.com/showthread...hlight=13.01.2

Etc. A search on "13.01.2" in the forums seems to pick up all the references.
