[MA] Style! Wildcard Skill & Style Adaptation

I assume that when combining a Wildcard Style and a Style Adaptation Perk, any Skills and Techniques must still be purchased normally.

Is this the case, or do all the benefits of a Style! (Effective Skill, Maximum level Techniques) get folded into the Style! for all purposes?

I'm not sure I follow. Do you mean, do you get to treat Style Adaptation as including everything from the appropriate style? I'd probably just say no, you need to buy it as another Wildcard skill, personally.

Thank you Peter. You correctly interpreted the question, and your response was what I thought. Thanks for the confirmation.

I just figured, "Wait, then Style Adaptation (All) would be the best thing in the universe", and worked backwards from there to my answer.

Re: [MA] Style! Wildcard Skill & Style Adaptation

I'm writing up a character and was torn between Taijutsu! and Ultimate Style! and I was hoping to shoehorn in a few weapons with an Ultimate Style! I chatted with the GM and think Taijutsu! is the way to go. I can have some weapons in the mix and escape the 20 point 'Style Familiarity:All.'

Thank you again for your attention.
