Munchkin Impossible: James Bomb + Spy Fly
 

I was unfortunate enough to get both of these in a combat and was wondering how one proceeds.

Spy Fly: [Moderator edit: Please don't quote card text on these forums. Please paraphrase if you need to describe a card's ability.] Only Guns count against it.
James Bomb: Only your Level counts against it.

Aside from paying one off or making one go away, is there any way to win this combat?

There is another way for you to win without removing the monsters... Give one of the two monsters Shoddy Equipment (a -5 to Monster Enhancer). This would put the monster side at a combat strength of -2 while yours is 0, so you are winning the combat.
