Alchemist + Fairy Berries? (Pathfinder)
The Alchemist card doubles the combat bonus from "Usable Once Only" cards. The Fairy Berries card does not have the text "Usable Once Only." However, we had a player who was an Alchemist claim that the Fairy Berries should have their bonus doubled when used by an Alchemist. Thoughts?
(The Alchemist claimed that since the Fairy Berries card mentions the effect of each Fairy Berry counting as a "once-only combat bonus," it should be doubled. The other players argued that the Ferry Berries card does not say "Usable Once Only" and shouldn't qualify for the bonus.) |

The Alchemist affects One-Shot Items. The dice in this case aren't Items.

The Alchemist does not double the Fairy Berries because they are not usable once only; they are usable a *minimum* of twice, and potentially more than that.

Several of the Fairy Dust cards (including Fairy Berries) are potentially reusable, and therefore do not carry the text "usable once only." :)
