A god's promises of what may be in exchange for an exit... something tells Peter that's not going to be very moving to his new friends and their people, but he will let them know that "Incarius" is sniffing around for an eventual ride.

How exactly will Peter tell them that Incarius is looking for an exit?



Travel today is on the road, and everyone seems to feel a bit nervous. Leon insists that when they see other travelers they just walk on by and smile and wave.


The conversations varies. The Homeliners talk about what seems to be a comparison of three football games from three different timelines, with mostly similar players. Ann compares the vegatation to prehistoric flora, and Peter finds that he recognizes a good portion of it from his first miracle workers world. Rajat and Leon compare their days at "the academy", and what the training did or didn't prepare them for. They talk about how most of them haven't seen that much magic before: Ann remarks they're going to be in a new category after they make it off Yirth. They all talk about the local food, what's good, and what's not, and what they miss from home.

They sleep in a stand of forest the next night as well. There is a great deal of complaining about and insulting of the Chaplaincy of St. Andrew.

"Remember that god i was looking for after we met and then I didn't want to talk about it? Well, he is here, that was him that we met, and he's here doing some banestorm research... i think he can affect it. He's looking for a ticket out of here when his research is complete if you're people would be interested in dealing."

"They lucked on to us in the village, they were doing a sweep. As long as no one kept any kind of gunpowder or tech, I don't think they'll be tracking us."

Peter is interested in talking on all the subjects, but especially about the academy. He misses school and the community of classmates.

Rajat seems uneasy : "What does he know so far? We try to keep our methods a secret."

Ann: "He's a world jumping God? I haven't heard much talk of that."

Leon: "What is he offering? favor? Money? Power? Knowledge? I suppose helping him off just once might be worth it if we shored up a weak spot or obtained more expertise with magic. But I'd rather he not know we have a way off of Yirth"

Rajat: "How would we even deal? isn't he on the southern coast?"

The academy is seemingly up in Canada, and its used to train the agents for field work. Its intense... but that seems to build the sense of community. They are happy to tell him all about it.

"He had a look at your tech, and is interested, but finds it a bit confusing, which is confusing itself, since tech is one of his things... He knows you arrived with some info about the place, suggesting you may have a way off or access to communication that let you know where to go looking for friendlies on arrival. Part of that was deduction, and part is from things I said."

Peter will recount the story of the Broken World, magic draining portals and Ink Thur's machinations to alter the balance of power.

"Pretty much the whole package I'm sure, but he'll have to get back home to deliver most of it."

"As of last night, we can communicate in my dreams, so there's that."

Rajat: "He sounds dangerous. And he's a god of technology? Does he have any ability to track us down?"


Ann: "Wait, he claims this place is a prison? That's... not the official story around here. And dragons are reaching out of this prison to effect his world?"

Leon: "How trust-worthy is he? Keeping a king honest in his own court is hard. Keeping a God honest? I'd rather have my payment first. If we can't disengage."


Leon: "You just found that out? Interesting."
Rajat: "So he might have other abilities."

Ann: "We can at least negotiate with him then. Can he visit dreams besides yours?"
Leon: "Can he get himself home once he's off this world?"

"I don't know if he can track us, ot how trustworthy he may be.. I inly met him the one time in person and the one time in my dream. I have no clue as to what his abilities may be. He said the communication thing is something he can do with his prests, but it works with me somehow."
