Oil of Olé

Oil of Olé says that it counts as a potion. why does this matter? can anyone please show me an in-game scenario where this has any significance? (:

The Raincoat armor protects you from having potions played against you, I believe.

In addition to Raincoat (from Munchkin 2), there are some other cards that affect or are affected by Potions too. Those with Fantasy backs include:

Grassy Gnoll from Munchkin 2
Newt from Munchkin 8
Fright Sprite from Warehouse 23 Booster 2012
The Green Knight from Munchkin Legends
Witch Doctor from Munchkin Legends
