-1 Hand?
When an item card, such as "Grabby Guts" from Munchkin Zombies says in the description, "You have one extra hand." ... What does the "-1 Hand" text mean on the bottom left corner of the card (next to the number of gold pieces the item is worth)? Having difficulties understanding this. Sorry if this a really simple question. Maybe an example would help me understand better. Thanks.

Re: -1 Hand?
Items that use a hand are indicated with the text "1 Hand" in the bottom left, meaning it uses one of your initial 2 hands.
2 initial hands - 1 used hand = 1 hand left over. A -1 hand indicates that it gives you a spare hand. 2 initial hands - (-1)= 2+1= 3 hands |
Re: -1 Hand?
An easier way to do the math is the following (and is, in fact, what was intended):
I'm using one Item that uses 2 Hands. Then I start using an Item that gives me a Hand (i.e., says -1 Hand) So, because of it I'm now using 1 Hand (2 Hands - 1 Hand = 1 Hand). No need to subtract a negative and make the math more confusing. |
