Munchkin Zombies Decay d6

So I just purchased this little expansion (http://www.worldofmunchkin.com/decayd6/) yesterday, and I'm wondering why it's called "d6"? Maybe I'm way over-thinking this...but... Is there a way to pronounce this set? Like "Decayed 6"? Was that the kind of humorous thinking/intent? I have no idea. LOL!

"d6" is the usual gamer-speak for a six-sided die.
