Acrobatic combat questions
In the basic set it states that if the opponent has multiple attacks, the retreat bonus extends to all of them, does the same apply to acrobatic dodge?
Can i use dodge and drop with acrobatic dodge? If i fall prone and blink upwards, can i roll acrobatic to fall on my feet? |
Re: Acrobatic combat questions
No.
Yes. Yes, with -5 from changing from horizontal to vertical position. |

Re: Acrobatic combat questions
Acrobatic Dodge explicitly applies to only one Dodge roll.
Anything else would frankly give way too much utility to Acrobatics. For that, take Enhanced Dodge 2 (requires DX roll, -10%) [27]. |
Re: Acrobatic combat questions
If an enemy uses an area attack centered in me, lets say 4 yards radius, would it be possible for me to dodge acrobatically 1 yard upward and them blink out of the attack, provided i can jump one or more yards and blink only moves you 3 yards.

Re: Acrobatic combat questions
The blink itself is treated as a Dodge (B98) -- that would be 2 dodges, so no. But you can retreat as a Dodge and Drop (B377), so I don't see why you couldn't Blink and Drop for an extra yard of distance.

Re: Acrobatic combat questions
I see, too bad. But even so, does acrobatic dodge works for jumping vertically? If i invested into increase jump and acrobacy could I get out of an area attack by out-jumping its radius as my block action?
