Question about the Cavalier (The Good, The Bad, and The Munchkin)
I was looking at the Elf and in the editions of Munchkin (latest edition) that I have the Elf goes up a level whenever they help in combat. There is no restriction on treasure. I thought that they used to say you had to agree to no treasure.
Anyway, The cavalier class form The Good, the Bad, and the Munchkin says that you go up a level only if you agree to no treasure. Should that be updated to say that they go up a level whenever you help in combat? |

The Elf has never had that restriction. It's only specific to Cavalry.

In regards to the Elf race and Calvary Class, if you are both could you gain two levels for helping someone for helping for free?

I'd say definitely as they are actually levels given for different things. Cavalry can get one level (and only one) if they help a non-Cavalry player win a combat and agree to take no Treasure, while Elves get one level per monster they help someone kill.

Per monster? Not per Combat?
I'll have to adjust my thinking if that is so. |

Thanks for the clarification. I also failed to realize that an Elf gets a level per monster for helping. Then again, I rarely play sets with the Elf race. Thanks again guys.
