Day 1: ICC
ICC for Day 1

Re: Day 1: ICC
Day 1.
Cashmere, Washington State 2:30am. Off the coast of Washington just out side the break water;a large highly advanced airplane crashes into the ocean it is marked with a Russian flag and call signs. The Coast Guard responds as well as the navy. There are some survivors but they are badly injured and rushed to Seatle hospitals to receive aid. The Russian government is contacted. 9:00AM The sun of Washington dances off the rivers and lakes. The little forested kingdom comes to life with the day to day lives of people and animals. The news reports of a plane crash off the coast. They report it as a Russian cargo ship coming from LA harbor. It was making its way to Moscow. The day to day of Cashmere(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cashmere,_Washington) bustles and bristles with life. However there are some differences today. Cops are everywhere. emergency services seem to be out and about more then usual. "EERUP, EERUP" the Tell tale sound of the Emergency alert system comes across all tvs, radios and internet radios. All cell phones light up with emergency alert texts and calls. This message plays across all media. "This is the Emergency Alert system. Washington state has been placed on lock down. No air, water, or auto traffic is allowed to leave or come in. Marshal Law has been instituted. There is now a 8pm curfew in place. Obey any all law enforcement or military forces. Failure to cooperate will result in imprisonment and/or fines. This is a major medical emergency. All citizens of Washington are encouraged to stay in doors as much as possible. If anyone sees anything out of the ordinary besides what you have just been told, alert any military or law enforcement nearest to you. This is the emergency alert system." With that the Washington National guard starts to roll out every where. Marines and army as well are deployed all over the state. It is now not possible to go anywhere where military or police can not be seen. There is a bit of panic and unrest but no one is getting hurt and people are responding well. Battle ships and destroyers can be seen off the coast. In every major harbor a battleship is placed with a destroyer blocking entrance and exit to the harbors. It is also safe to assume that submarines from Kitsap Naval Base are in place as well. Helicopters and fighter jets are on constant patrol around the skys. Something is wrong, really wrong. (You two do not need to know each other but I am gonna put you guys in the same place.) You are both at Walmart. Greg's kids are present with him. Walmart is currently in massive overload. You can not buy anything at Walmart. It is actually been over taken by the military is distributing supplies based on family size. Right after the alert was sent another was sent ordering all civilians to go to a Walmart and receive emergency provisions. There are also medical tents where you must go through to get to Walmart. Everyone's blood is tested. Tests are ran and then people who passed are given a green card and allowed through. As you are allowed through a marine tells you all. "Do not loose that card." |
Re: Day 1: ICC
I'm going to make sure Victor is very clear on that point (about not losing his card). Then I tell Alice "If we get separated I'll get the supplies, you just take Victor back to the car and wait for me."
I want to try and see what the supply chain is here. All just stuff from Walmart or military tucking stuff in etc. Also how many people are here? |
Re: Day 1: ICC
Quote:
The supplies you receive are standard medical and first kits, Food that will last, Several MRE's and basic care equipment. Nothing that would be to out of the ordinary. Since you have two dependents you are given a little more. *There are several people out and about arguing and yelling. The Military are stepping in.* The supplies seem to be a mix of regular Walmart fare and military surplus. There are some tvs around and you can see news reports of all major high ways in and out are blocked. you can see some people trying to get in and out of the state through back roads and trails. One reporter is on the Washington/Idaho boarder where the Idaho national guard is paroling the boarder. F-22s flew over head. |
Re: Day 1: ICC
I'm going to see about going to the pharmacy and getting extra Focusyn (or whatever) for Victor.
EDIT: Also, an extra pair of reading glasses. |
Re: Day 1: ICC
Trent stands in line and bitches constantly'"What the #$%&! Is taking so long!" And "why is that D bag getting more than the rest!". He gets his card after bitching while geting looked over by the medics he looks at the card and says,"What the hell is this for?"
When he gets his supplies he says "What no gatorade or power bars? Man this wack!" |
Re: Day 1: ICC
As Greg and Trent are about to leave. A man being tested at the entrance, a red flag and alert signal is fired off when he is tested.
All military at the entrance point their guns at him. He does not look healthy. He looks really sick. His skin is pale, His eyes are sucken in, it is like he can not see or hear anyone. He just keeps repeating "cold, cold, cold" |
Re: Day 1: ICC
Trent says,"$#%^&* crack head trying to get more than his share probably....friggin Soldiers boys are probably going to waste him...sweet!" Trent watches them intently with a crap eating grin on his face.
|
Re: Day 1: ICC
Greg is moving to the medical line where he can get the medicine he needs as well possibly some extra reading glasses. He hears some hot shot young kid mouth off and he hears the man repeating the word cold.
they both look at him. He continues to ignore them. He is sweating really bad, yet he continues to say he is cold. He is jittering and shaking. Greg notices there is a bite mark on his arm. It is black and oozing a black goo. The man flops to the ground. he starts to convulse and grind his teeth. They snap off but he continues to flay around. The soldiers take a well placed shot to his head. He stops moving. The crowd roars in fear. They start to get as far away from the corpse as possible. Men in yellow sealed suits swarm the corpse. They bag up the body and shuffle it off to a makeshift lab near by. The top of the domes can be seen a half a block away. A leer jet flies over head. Several F-22s are chasing it. They are shooting at it. The jet tries to out maneuver the fighter jets but it was not built for that. one of the fighters fires a missile at the jet. A blast of heat hits the crowd as they are in dismay. The jet slams down in a grocery store. It did not look like there was anyone there but no one is for sure. Several Marine Humvees swarm the grocery store. |
Re: Day 1: ICC
Trent yells,"Dude!" when the Soldiers blast the man in the head and hoots and hollers when the leer jet is shot down,"Dude that was intense! These dudes are serious". He lingers for a bit watching what the soldiers do trying to get a closer look at the body. He is bumping into people and shoving them aside to move closer to the dead body.
|
Re: Day 1: ICC
Yes...these "dudes" are serious... What was that plane trying to do anyway...idiotic.
Before I move on to the medical line I am going to make sure my kids don't have any gore splattered on them. ("Good, open your mouth...did anything get in you eyes?") I want to ask the pharmacist if the soldiers were just trying to contain the outbreak when they shot that man or if the infection makes people dangerous. |
Re: Day 1: ICC
The when Greg gets up to the clerk for medication he gives him his order. He also asks his question.
The Pharmistis looks just as bewildered as Greg "I don't man." He continues to work on the order. "I just hand out the drugs. They came in my store all of the sudden handing me a warrant saying I had to co-operate. Talk about civil rights. Something is going down though. That is the second jet I have seen shot down. The air ports are all closed up so it must be from a private air port something." He looks up and freezes. As Greg turns around he can see a large fire from down town. Then a large explosion. The ground rattles under them, like an earth quake. Some man hole covers are blown off and slam down. No one is hurt near Greg or Trent. The Mariens all take off in the direction of the explosion. The Army and tanks stay put. A Comanche Helicopter flies over. Over the radio: "Foxtrot 3 to ground command, come in ground command." "This is ground command, report foxtrot 3." "We have containment breech. Mass movement to the north in down town. They seem to have caused a gas station to explode. They are moving towards the Walmart. Advise movment of of civilian presence." "Roger that, All ground forces begin evacuation of civilians." The Soldiers begin to move the civilians away from the walmart. Then screams are heard from the grocery store. A Marine is telling a woman to get down and back off. She is not listening. She charges the marine. The bullets fly but he misses the head. The woman tackles him and begins to eat him. Panic ensues and people take off running in all directions. People run by Greg and Trent like a bomb has gone off. For a second Greg looses grip on his son. (You have not lost your son, but you have lost grip on him. you need a PER roll and or a search roll to locate him. you are -1 for the roll because of the chaos. This is grab him again, remember you have not lost him yet.) |
Re: Day 1: ICC
Seeing the comotion and chaos Trent says,"This is f'd up! I'm outta here." He says,"move a-&%$#" when someone gets in his way and he starts to push past everyone else toward his SUV.
|
Re: Day 1: ICC
"Victor!"
Roll vs 11 (Per-1) (3d6=14) "VICTOR!" I start looking for him. I'm also going to grab Alice by the bicep if I can. BTW is my car parked in the direction of the "mass movement"? Also, relative to that which way is Trent running and do I see the hole in the crowed he is presumably making? |
Re: Day 1: ICC
Greg gets his daughter with out any trouble. Greg could not find his son, but his son found him.
"Dad I am right here here!" his son said. His son was behind him holding on to his father's shirt. Greg did not notice it being pulled tight. Greg notices a rather large young man plowing his way to his SUV. There is a bit of a gap between the crowd and this man. As luck would have it, Greg's car is parked next to this young man's SUV. |
Re: Day 1: ICC
I grab Victor.
"We need to get out of here!" I want to try to take advantage of the gap in the crowd and make a dash to our car. I will be paying attention to how Alice is handling the situation (ie if I need to hold on to her or if she would be better off running on her own). |
Re: Day 1: ICC
Greg and Trent both get to their Cars.
Both are able to get in and get started with no problems. Off in the direction of the explosion. Both Trent and Greg observe Tanks and soldiers firing on civilians. At least they look like civilians. Upon closer look they are ragged and grey. They have no expression or emotion in their face. They just Shuffle on even though they are being shot at. A tank shell goes off and blows the legs off one man. His upper body just keeps going. |
Re: Day 1: ICC
I start driving away from the chaos.
Diseased killers, overzealous marines, tight quarantine, traffic, starvation... I need to get us away from other people to someplace with food, water, and shelter. A ski resort? ... Hum... "You guys still have your green cards?" ((Is it September in game?)) |
Re: Day 1: ICC
Trent speeds off. Seeing the other car leave (I assume the cars are near each other) He follows driving over curbs and side walks if need be...he lays on the horn for all the a-holes running around to get out of his way.
|
Re: Day 1: ICC
Both are able to leave with no real opposition. The Army and Marines seem to have more pressing matters.
As your driving you several F-22s and a few F-35s fly by. In your rear view mirror you see one of the F-35s drop a large payload. You both just see a very large explosion. You can draw two conclions from this... 1. Both of you would have just be killed. 2. Something serious is going down for the American Government to allow live fire on civilian areas. As your driving you see those new digital billboards. They have been turned from their normal display to a warning. It reads "Warning: Mass Viral Infection. Take precautions. Do not go near Sick people. 100% Mortality Rate." The Free ways seem to be open. @ Greg, Ski resorts are just now opening. Steven's pass has had fresh snowfall but the roads are not icy as of yet. You should not have much trouble getting up there. You do recall that weather on Steven's pass can be erratic. Snow storms can come and go quickly. It is safe to assume that because of all this, the plows are not going up and down the pass. If you go up, You will have a small window to safely make a trip back down and return up. Once this window closes, you will not be able to safely come down till spring. |
Re: Day 1: ICC
Trent sees the walmart and surronding area go up in flames he says,"Dude that ain't cool....I was just I could've been roasted!" He gets on his cell and tries to call his friend Cliff.
|
Re: Day 1: ICC
Greg's Kids hold up the cards. They both have them safe and sound.
Trent tries to dial out but a message comes across the cell phone. "Only Military and emergency service personal currently have access to Cell services. We will as soon as possible return service to the public. IF this is an emergency, press pound now. Other wise hang up and try your call later." |
Re: Day 1: ICC
A long fall and sudden stop, hypothermia, starvation...
They must have good defenses set up at the state line. We could camp within range without trying to cross. No, there will be huge crowds there... So where? Grocery stores will be packed. We need someplace with food and water but it needs to be remote. Maybe we will need to risk the ski resort. A better vehicle would be nice... I spot Trent's SUV in my rearview (maybe jumping a curb to cut a corner?). Like that one... Is he following me? I drive to the highway and head in the direction of Steven's pass, keeping an eye open for SUVs and pickup trucks (or any vehicle with snow chains) that look like they might have the keys in them (for whatever reason). Or even better... "Alice is your phone still getting internet? Can you lookup a local snowplow business?" |

Not that I know what good they will do us... |
Re: Day 1: ICC
This was one of those moments when it was actually a good idea for a parent to give their child internet on their phone. The internet is still working considering it is a separate service from calling on the phone. The internet is slow though.
With in about 2 mins Greg's daughter is able to find a snow plow service. Luckily it does not open until tomorrow so no one should be there. Greg is given directions on how to get there. It is now currently 10:30 AM. |
Re: Day 1: ICC
I go there.
|
Re: Day 1: ICC
Trent heads for his friend cliffs gun shop on the outskirts of town he is one of those survival freaks and conspiracy dudes....he'll know what to do.
|
Re: Day 1: ICC
Both drivers realize that they are going to the same place.
When they pull in they are confronted with a typical multi stop store. As they pull in they realize that there is Large barbed wire fence with the a gate all around the property. They also notice the gate is open. It looks like the gate was opened fast and shut fast. The person who opened it missed shutting it all the way. The Place is large. it has a standard gas station out front with a small convenience store, attached to it. Connecting to the west side of the building is a hunting/Survivalist store. The Door to this part of the store is open. Out back is a large garage with a advertisements for snow plows and snow cats. As well as equipment for making cars snow ready. There is a large snowplow rig out front. It is black with a 3 inch bulldog statuette on the front. The Plow has not been hooked up yet but it is layed out in front of the truck and ready to be hooked up. (This is the layout of the shop. http://imgur.com/E2cduBM) The area seems to be quite. There is not a lot of activity around. There is also no animal noises of any kind. |
Re: Day 1: ICC
Good luck!
I pull in by the gas pump, shut off the car, and get out. "Victor, stay here. Alice see if anyone is inside but don't go in." I go close the gate but if the SUV is still outside I wait for it to come in before I do. |
Re: Day 1: ICC
Trent was lead footing it riding Greg's rear all the way swerving and being a general A-hole. He flies through the gate behind Greg. He will pull up to the gun shop.
|
Re: Day 1: ICC
Once I get the opportunity I'm going to try to engage Trent in conversation.
I also want to keep an eye on Alice. |
Re: Day 1: ICC
Trent is over by Alice.
Alice is looking through the windows. |
Re: Day 1: ICC
Immediately after SUV stops he puts it into park, flings the door open . He doesn't bother turning off the motor, He gets out and dashes for the gun shop door.
|
Re: Day 1: ICC
"Hey!"
Once Trent is in the shop I double check that the gate is at least latched if not locked and head over to Alice. |
Re: Day 1: ICC
"Stay here."
I walk into the store after Trent. "Hello..." |
Re: Day 1: ICC
Trent runs into the shop and starts hollering,"Cliff! Something jacked up just happened dude!" He runs for the back room to see if Cliff is in there.
|
Re: Day 1: ICC
I stand by the entrance to the store and look nervously around at all the guns...
"I think the owner has already come and gone." |
Re: Day 1: ICC
Cliff is not in the store...
Both men hear clearly some noise of a man rummaging around out in the garage. The noise was loud and clear. It sounded like a shelf crashing over. No other noise was heard. They now notice, that the back door is open and there are foot prints in the dirt and mud. There are 2 distinct pairs of foot prints. One is rushed and hurried. The other looks like it was made by a drunk person. |
Re: Day 1: ICC
"Or not..."
I look around for a taser or pepper spray (bear spray?). |
Re: Day 1: ICC
Trent dash back out to his SUV and drives it around to the garage...ignoring Greg's comment. He will stop in front of the door and says to himself,"Cliff would never leave his place unattened like that...." He reaches around to the back seat, unzipps his gear bag and grabs a baseball bat from it.
Then he gets out of the suv, puts his keys in his pocket, shuts the door and heads fort he closest entry way. The rests on his shoulder. |
Re: Day 1: ICC
Greg finds all kinds of implements. There are hand guns in the counter case. There are shot guns and rifles on the back wall. There are non-lethal weapons on a corner, with things like mace and pepper spray. In another glass case are good hunting knives and utilitiy knives.
There also seems to be something odd with the floor. Trent goes to west door. The glass window on the door has been knocked out. There are mud and what looks like a dark red mess all over the front of the door. The door looks like it was beaten in. |
Re: Day 1: ICC
Trent walks in bat ready to bash some punk upside the head..."probably looters..." he thinks to himself. "..Cliff must've got taken out....stupid a$$ should've been paying attention."
|
Re: Day 1: ICC
What is odd with the floor?
"Hey Alice, come on in. We need to grab a bunch of this stuff." Here is what I want to loot*: Two of the highest capacity pepper sprays. Four survival knives. A big hunting knife. Also, if I can find them: Two practical looking tasers. Reloads for same**. At least two pair of ballistic safety glasses, at least one of which should fit over regular glasses. One of the biggest type of medkit they have and multiple** smaller ones. Zipties**. Rope and twine**. MREs**. Water bottles**. Three winter coats, sized for my kids and me. One or two large duffel bags or maybe daypacks or backpacks to put all this stuff in. *As in, I'm breaking glass and/or locks if I need to. **However much seems practical to take. PS: That stuff added up...maybe we should go over item weights and encumbrance? OTOH I am planning to throw most of this stuff in a vehicle. |
Re: Day 1: ICC
As Trent enters the Garage He notices some strange things. There is a blackish red goo all over the back of the door and pattern of indents about 1 foot in diameter. It is safe for Trent to assume that someone shot something with a shot gun.
As Trent moved in base ball bat in hand he saw what was shot. There is a man with a big hole in his chest. HIs flesh seems odd. It is pale and grey. It is not like a normal dead body. Trent does not have enough medical training to know what is wrong, but he has human body and knows enough about his own to know that the dead body is off. Trent has no time to duck or dodge. It is a good thing this person has crap aim. A shot gun goes off. Buck shot flies past Trent's face. He feels the air whiz by him. He is unharmed but he almost died. (Failed Per check, but he failed his hit roll) *** Greg is busy in the store getting supplies together. It almost seems like he is prepareing for the end of the world. Greg Notices 2 things. 1. He notices that the floor that seemed odd, looks like it can move. IT also looks odd because it does not match the flooring around well. 2. Greg notices a shot gun shot going off. |
Re: Day 1: ICC
Out of reflex Trent covers (after the fact) his head with both arms (but still holds onto the bat with one hand) and crouches down momentarily yelling out,"Cliff you a-hole is that you...watch where you are shooting!". He looks around for the source of shotgun.
|
Re: Day 1: ICC
A trap door?
I start it investigate but then I hear the shot. Not good! I bring Alice back out to the car and (assuming Victor is still there) tell her to get in and be ready to drive. Then I plan to go back through the gun shop and (armed with pepper spray and a knife) see what happened. |
Re: Day 1: ICC
A raspy and coughing voice comes from Trent's right side.
"Trent? That you? I cant really see well right now." Cliff is on the ground up against some old tires. He has a bite mark on his arm. The vein coming from the bit mark are black. The bite itself looks dead. His skin is turning clammy and grey. His eyes are starting to white out. Greg goes to the garage to find the same thing. |
Re: Day 1: ICC
((I think it would be resonable for Trent to take some action before Greg shows up. Once Greg does show up:))
-snip- |
Re: Day 1: ICC
Trent says,"Awww...Dude you look like crap! That is a nasty bite you got. What the hell happened?" Trent steps closer to get a better look..
|
Re: Day 1: ICC
"Keep away from him! He's infected with something nasty, whether it's this plague or not."
I scan the room for other people. |
Re: Day 1: ICC
Trent looks at Greg,"Hey A-hole you mind I am talking to my friend here?. He sneers at Greg then turns back to Cliff waiting for Cliff's response
|
Re: Day 1: ICC
I stand in the doorway ready to step outside and close the door. If the door can be locked without using a key (like, from the inside) I do that too.
|
Re: Day 1: ICC
"I was getting ready to open my bunker. When this guy came in." He pointed over t the body on the floor. "He was sick looking and really aggressive. He then just bite me and started chasing me all over. I got my gun and ran in the garage here. HE followed and I let him have it." Trent and Greg can hear some shuffling around where the body is. "I don't think he is fully dead though. I did shoot out his spine" He says laughing. "So I don't think he is going anywhere."
It sounded like Cliff gave all of his energy to tell you that. His eyes roll back in his head and he does not seem to be awake anymore. For Greg: The door is actually already locked. It is one of those one way doors. You can lock it from one way but still open it from the other direction. It is locked trying to come in, but you can still open it from the inside. |
Re: Day 1: ICC
"I'll go get a medkit. Don't touch him without gloves!"
I go get a medkit from the store. |
Re: Day 1: ICC
Trent walks over to the body, stops about 1 yard from it and stares at it. "Dude that is sick. The Mofo is still moving. What the hell?" He looks back at Cliff to see if he has woken up.
|
Re: Day 1: ICC
Cliff is out cold.
The body on the floor seems to have suffered extreme spinal injury. The head of the body is sitll gasping and biting but the rest of the body seems to not be moving. It seems, that what ever this is, it is still limited by the human body. Greg finds a first aid kit and some latex gloves with no problem when he rushes back, he sees the body still trying to bite around. There is also something he did not notice in the commotion before. There is a distinct smell. It is sweet and at the same time stomach churning. It is like Greg's body does not know if it wants to vomit or to embrace the scent. It is clear though that it is coming from the body and starting to come from cliff. 11:30am |
Re: Day 1: ICC
Trent leans forward slightly still out of reach of the flailing body. Looks at it with head tilted sideways as Greg administers to his friend. "Dude is Cliff going turn into this...? What the @#$% is happening...I thought those dudes were on some sort of drugs but this wacked!" as he leans back straight. He then walks to the head and straddles it raising his back twohanded above his head he tries to smash in the dead bodies brains....
AOA(Determined) +4, -7 brain, +4 Telegraphic attack, Skill 11 (sports baseball skill adaptation)- 12 or less 12 or less (3d6=11)Hit Damage (2d6+1=3) Wow this damage sucks....oh well |
Re: Day 1: ICC
I will check out Cliff. I check his breathing and circulation but I don't try to wake him up.
"I don't know, probably. The only I can think of to do is put a tourniquet above the bite-probably won't work but the only other thing is antibiotics and if those worked we wouln't be in this mess." |
Re: Day 1: ICC
Trent's hit seems to have devastating effect. The skull crushes and the body stops biting around.
Cliff's breathing is shallow and labored. He has a very weak pulse. |
Re: Day 1: ICC
I check to see if the darkening of the vains extends all the way to the torso (cutting away clothing if necessary).
"Good idea, probably best to put it out of its misery. That guy was not coming back." |
Re: Day 1: ICC
The darkening stops at what it would be the area his heart is at. Then it goes up his neck and stops at the base of his skull. Safe to assume that it has gone into his brain.
The breathing stops. |
Re: Day 1: ICC
Trent walks over to Greg,"Can you help him? He scans the garage quickly to make sure there aren't anymore freaks sneaking up on him.
|
Re: Day 1: ICC
CPR? ... Nope!
That's odd, he never got aggressive... "We might have a problem here!" I stand up and back away from him. "I think he's dead but judging by that-" I point to the bloody mess Trent was just dealing with "-maybe we should be sceptical of that diagnosis." |
Re: Day 1: ICC
Trent says,"Dude that ain't cool...Cliff was my friend...Oh well he wouldn't want to be like that." He nods towards the other body as he winds up to smash in Cliffs skull.

Re: Day 1: ICC
"Wow, I said 'I think he's dead'. Well...I was probably right..."
I start to take off my gloves and I scan the garage for items from my list. We should probably seal this place up but we might need some of this stuff... |
Re: Day 1: ICC
As far as both of you can tell, Cliff is down.
Greg is able to find everything else on his list. |
Re: Day 1: ICC
Trent says,"Well let's lock the gate. Make sure none of those dead bodies come walking in or anyone else trying to get Cliff's stuff." he tilts his head and looks at Cliff to make sure he isn't going to come back to chew on him. Then he grabs the shotgun Cliff was holding and checks for any spare shells and any keys he may have on him. He then heads for the gate to lock it.
|
Re: Day 1: ICC
"Good idea."
I follow Trent. "My name's Greg by the way." |
Re: Day 1: ICC
trent rests the shotgun on his shoulder and carries the bat loose in his other hand . He continues walking towardsthe gate and says,"Trent...." and keeps going.
|
Re: Day 1: ICC
As we pass the snowplow I'm going to look at it and see if I can tell if it is in operable condition.
|
Re: Day 1: ICC
Trent finds 3 unspent shells.( The Shot gun is a pump action 12 gauge. Nothing else special about it. It still has the dowel in the clip so it can only hold 3 rounds. 1 in the chamber and 2 in the clip.)
There is a large set of keys attached to cliff's belt. Trent now has those as well. The snowplow is very nice for snowplows. It has a dump truck back so it is safe to assume this is actually a dump truck with the capability to have a snow plow attached. Without opening the hood or starting her up, the truck looks to be in great condition. |
Re: Day 1: ICC
After we make sure the gates are locked I plan to check on my kids.
|

Re: Day 1: ICC

Ooc: I believe Greg shut the gate when we first entered right? |
Re: Day 1: ICC
Ooc: Yes but I'm not sure (and maybe Greg's not sure) if it ended up locked.
(to Trent) "These are my children; Alice and Victor." (to kids) "This is Trent. He kn- ... He is a friend of the owner of this place." (to Trent) "We should check around. Make sure there aren't any surprises waiting for us." |
Re: Day 1: ICC
Greg's to-do list/plan for the day:
EDIT: One more thing:
|
Re: Day 1: ICC
Trent will load as much guns and ammo he can fit in his SUV
He will grab whatever power bars and Gatorade Cliff has stocked(he always kept a case for Trent because he new he likes them). He will gather camping gear (unless Greg is including Trent in his "Equipment for everyone") He will get a gun strap for his rifle, load it, and sling over hsi shoulder as well as carry his bat with him. He will park his SUV facing the exit but close the gun shop. He will fill whatever gas cans are in the store with gas and put them in his SUV. He will look for snow chains for his SUV. He will Hit on Greg's Daughter (taught I'd forget that...) |
Re: Day 1: ICC
When Greg introduces Trent to his kids Trent will grunt a hello to his sun.
When he see's his daughter he gets a huge sneer/smile on his face and approcah her,"Hellooooo baaabbby...youa re now the new apple of the Trensters eye..." He gets uncomfortably close for Greg's taste. |
Re: Day 1: ICC
Forgot one thing:
He will check out Cliff's bunker and load any remaining guns and ammo in the bunker as well as excess food. |

There are no other "surprises". There is one major concern. There is a part of the fence on the west side that is in disrepair. It will take at least 2 days to fix it providing you can find more chain link or something to block it with. There are 3 small sized caterpillar fork lifts near( that is the 3 little blocks in between the store and the garage in the picture.) the break and loose chain link. There is all razor wire that has fallen off the top. You will need to find gloves that can protect your hands or you will need to make a dex roll for every action you take while holding it, to prevent cutting yourself. The trap door is just a covering for a safe. It is locked. Personal basics are covered by the convenience part of the store. The Truck is unlocked and keys are on the front seat(How convenient for you! yeah criticals!) She is full on gas and she roars to life with ease! The internal has nice black leather seats and can comfortably fit 3. 4 can fit but it will be crampts. The back is quite large and can fit a lot of stuff/snow/sand. (this is the truck, but with out the red. http://static.commercialmotor.com/bi...5/IMG_0276.JPG) You can not attach the plow by yourself. You also do not know how to. Your skills give you enough back ground to figure it out but it might take a few hours with some help. your kids help get the plow attached and you move the truck to the gate. It is makes a wonder block for the gate. Not the plow it self will make a good 'ramming' shield. It will help if you need to clear a road. Loading it will supplies will take you the rest of the day and about 4 hours into the next day, when ever you choose to start. After all the chaos you notice you are hungry and tired.(note you will need to get sleep and eat and bathroom and all that business. the effects of not doing so will apply) You are also able to get a radio going and tun it into the emergency station but it keeps playing the same message it was before. Nothing changed yet on it. |
