Re: Day 1: ICC
Your looking around produces any result one would expect. There are tools and various parts laying around in a normal fashion.

Re: Day 1: ICC
To make the trap I look for string or wire, some sticks or pipe, and any kind of noisy/heavy detritus (eg tin cans).
Here is my rough plan: link I see it being setup on a folding table outside. ((Of course Greg is IQ 14 so he might have a better idea then me. Anyway here's my roll for finding the stuff. I'm using Per but you read it as whatever stat you like. I assume you will want to make the roll for building the thing yourself.)) Roll vs 12 (Per) (3d6=14) ((*shakes fist at sky*)) |
Re: Day 1: ICC
You are able to make 1 good working trap. And 2 not so good working ones. The materials you found are just old. It seems that Cliff was just a pack rat but liked to hide all of his stuff.
You did however find a lot of sharp fence posts out back behind the Garage. It looks like Cliff was fixing to replace the whole fence. There is enough chain link and razor wire to replace the entirety of the fence out behind the garage. There are also 5 foot long metal poles that have been sharpened for easier penetration into the ground. |
Re: Day 1: ICC
Trent looks around on the floor and walls for anything that could be considered a concealed door...
Perception (3d6=15) failed by 4 Trent see his reflection in the mirror above the shop sink and begins to admire his awesomeness...flexing and winking at him self...saying to his reflection,"Simply a Badass! Yeah!" |

Okay, first order of business (after I check how my kids did though the night) is a careful sweep of the compound to make sure we are still alone.

Re: Day 1: ICC
Before Trent goes to bed he does pull ups, sit ups, and cardio exercises. When he gets up in the morning he does the same thing. Except he takes a bat, his rifle and jogs around the compound as Greg checks for danger.

Re: Day 1: ICC
"Morning, Trent."
I then go check on the traps and if they are still set I will contemplate what I would need to do to improve the subpar ones. EDIT: I'll probably think that over while making breakfast and also turn on the radio and tune it around while cooking and eating to see what I can hear. EDIT: I cook something high protein (like eggs and sausage) and make three servings for Trent. |
