Sandals of Protection (Loot)

Scenario:

Sandals of Protection equipped.

Open Door

Draw a Curse

The curse has no effect on the Sandal's owner.
Does that end the turn or can the person still "Loot the Room" or "Look for Trouble"?

The fact that the Curse has been canceled by Sandals of Protection doesn't do anything to change the normal game play, so the player is free to Look For Trouble or Loot The Room, just as if the Curse had actually affected him.
