When can a Thief steal?
 

Regarding the Thief ability, it can only be used in the players turn or he can use it when he wants? If so, can he use it during another player combat so he can steal an item?

From the rules: "Note that a Thief cannot steal while he or the target is fighting." Since the Thief card doesn't specify when you can steal, it can be done at any time, with the noted restriction that a Thief in combat can not steal, nor can a Thief steal from someone in combat. Any other time or circumstance is legitimate.
