Running away from multiples monsters
When running away from multiples monsters, its says you must try run from 1 monster at time (playing the dice X times, where X is the numbers of monsters i am facing).
my question is, when i sucessfully run away from 1 monster, can i kill the remaining monsters? and if i can, i will get the level and treasures from then? |
Re: Running away from multiples monsters
Nope, running from the battle means you have exited the combat phase and you can't reenter once you have rolled. You can charm a monster or take similar action befor hand to equal the odds.

Different question - if one runs away from 2 monsters that both have Death as Bad Stuff, and fail both rolls, does the player die twice and have to give TWO cards to every other player from his body?

Re: Running away from multiples monsters
Once you suffer Death, you no longer have to Run Away from any remaining monsters, or suffer their Bad Stuff. So it is usually a good strategy to Run Away from the Monster(s) with Death in their Bad Stuff first.

Re: Running away from multiples monsters
Yeah, to be clear, when running away from multiple monsters, you roll for the first one, and suffer its Bad Stuff if you fail. Then you roll for the second monster and so on. If any of them cause you to die, then the others ignore your corpse.
And on strategy, the only monsters I attempt to Run Away from before those that include Death in their Bad Stuff are ones that would take my Items away. I'm going to lose them anyway if I die, but if they take them away first, then my opponents can't loot those ones. |
