Restraining Order

I'd like to clarify what counts as "cards used against me" when using the Restraining Order. Would something like an Illusion count as a card against me? I suppose all Monster Enhancers and Wandering Monsters, or Undead Monsters added to the fight would also be cards used against me. However, depending on one's interpretation of a situation, some cards used could be either against or for me depending on how I want to look at it. For example, if I don't want the monster to be killed and someone uses "Dead" on it, I'd consider that to be used against me because it goes against what I was hoping for. So...what exactly is a card that is used against me?

There was recently a question posed very similar to this one. Essentially Restraining Order would return cards like Wandering Monster or Illusion to their owner's hand but their effect would not be reversed. Only specifically Monster Enhancers (the +x variety) are negated.

Here is the link to the thread.

I'd like to get the official answer too. What does mean "against"? Does the curse "Race change" counts as card played "Against me", if it removes a Race, which giving bonus to monster, but makes the Item with same bonus unavailable? Do the cards, which remove monsters from combat, count as "against me"? These cards can make me better, if i can't beat a monster, or worse, if i fight with a low-level monster...
