Monsters that won't fight
 

On a logical discussion in my last game, we decided that if the monster says they won't fight, (example: salesman on a thief, amazon on a woman).
Can they still be slayed? They just aren't fighting back.
As well, can you ask for help to use a player's condition to cause the fight to stop? (Example: Ask for help on a salesman from a thief)

Monsters that don't fight are discarded from the combat and cannot be killed after their condition is met.

You can ask for a helper at any time you are losing a combat and you don't already have a helper. Thus, you could ask for help from a character that would cause a monster not to fight.
