Web App for Hit Location

Hello,

A friend of mine and I have put together a small web app to run through all the rolls required to implement hit location and special effect wounds in Martial Arts. I plan to use it on my IPad of Phone during our sessions.

It shows only the notes that are relevant to the type of damage, and re-roll locations as needed. A fun little project.

Anyone interested in using it are welcome! Here is the link:

We introduced it on the G+ community yesterday. All comments are welcome.

I had plans for developing a similar page. If I may make a feature request. Could you add page references? Page references that link to that publication's web page would be even better; and better for SJ Games as it might encourage product purchase.

Also, a graphic that allows you to choose the hit location by touching it would be cool.

That's really cool. I'm keeping it.

Nice. If it showed to the penalty to hit it, it would be even better. Otherwise you have to know you hit before it's useful.

Peter, this is on the todo list. I agree. What stopped us is the real estate to make the selectors fit on one line... Mundane issue, but still.

I though about it, it is simple enough to do.

The main problem with a hit location selector as graphic is whether we want to use a copyrighted image or draw our own... Which is a liability in my case.

The current version now includes Hit Modifiers on the hit location selection and links to the SJG publications in the credits.

Nice. I linked it on my blog, too, in my panel of GURPS links.

Great app! I'm gonna use this in my next game. I like the fact that the default setting is random hit location. Any chance you could add a filter for those of us who only use the Basic hit locations? I wouldn't know what to do if the abdomen or pelvis were hit, despite the handy notes.

Unless they've changed it since I looked at it yesterday it's just the Martial Arts locations. Abdomen is from Low-Tech and Pelvis is Tactical Shooting.
