Munchkin Level Counter and Epic Munchkin counter
 

Today I have found at resources interesting Epic Munchkin counter, that allows to hold 3 classes with SuperMunchkin card for Epic Munchkin game.

Besides, I have Munchkin Level Counter for android (that gives me Boon once per game).

The question is: can I use two this counters at the same time to get Boon from Munchkin Level Counter and to hold 3 classes with SuperMunchkin card?
If no, can I start with Munchkin Level Counter, get a Boon, use it, and after that shut down Munchkin Level Counter (because I want, or because my mobile is battery-low) and take Epic Munchkin counter (and hold 3 classes with SuperMunchkin card)?

You are only ever allowed to use one Level counter. Pick one and stick with it.

Ok, but what if my mobile with Munchkin Level Counter, which I used at game start, automatically turned off because it battery low? How can I count my levels after that?

You would clearly have to switch level counters, but I would imagine without additional bonuses

Does anything changes if I used Munchkin Level Counter at game start, but I didn't get bonus from it (didn't use boon)? Can I use Epic Munchkin counter and get it's bonus?

Is there an official explanation anywhere on this (similar with official rule for Munchkin shirts)?

You should be able to use them both and get both their bonuses..

Because you don't have a Munchkin Level Counter for your phone, you have a Kill -O- Meter which gives you the Boon, and you have a Epic Level Counter that allows you to have a possible third class.

Actually, looking at that Epic counter, I'm going to ask the web team to take it down, because we never approved that rule and I don't want people getting the idea that it's official. It's not.

I am SPECIFICALLY disallowing its use in tournament play, and I say this explicitly only because some tournament players are a special breed who think anything other than explicit banning means that it's allowable in all cases.

Except, that I already said that you can only use one, using every ounce of official capacity that I can (and, that's a lot of ounces). Also, the Kill-O-Meter doesn't give boons. And now, it's made further moot by Andrew's pronouncement.

At any rate, keep your phone charged if you want to use the app, and you'll obviously have to switch to some other form of counting if your battery dies, but since very few Level counters have legitimate bonus provision, I think this isn't really a major issue for concern.
